The person who held everyone else still gets a place to set it down. You were never meant to carry it alone.
Trauma-informed therapy provided by Yvette Brown
Marriage and Family Therapy Trainee at Attune Center for Healing

My Experience & Focus
Unprocessed trauma and C-PTSD
I am a Redding Therapist who works with people whose nervous system is still organized around what it took to survive, including grief and the aftereffects of controlling and narcissistic relationships.
Parts work and Brainspotting
Sessions are paced and collaborative, using Internal Family Systems and Brainspotting with talk therapy so you are not pushed to tell more than you are ready to tell.
The load of being the strong one
A lot of the people I see are midlife adults carrying caregiving, chronic illness, unfinished family roles, or a complex blended household while still looking like they have it handled.
Yvette is a Redding Therapist who is accepting new clients in person at Attune Center for Healing in Redding, CA or via telehealth for all residents of California. United Healthcare, Aetna and Partnership are welcome. Superbills are available upon request.

DOWNLOAD MY GUIDE
This short, free guide is for people who want to understand how I work before they book a consult.
It explains Internal Family Systems and Brainspotting in plain language: what “parts” means, what a brainspot is, and how those two approaches can sit alongside ordinary conversation. There is also an optional section on a Christian way of seeing IFS. Faith in Christ is welcome if it matters to you. It is not required.
The guide is educational. It is not therapy and it does not take the place of a first session. If you are in immediate danger, call or text 988 instead.
Download it, read it at your own pace, and decide whether the room I hold sounds like a fit.
